They relations are different from William and his wife. He once said to his wife to love her only, did he break his promise when he falled in love with the princess?

his love for the princess
deer lanny, at first i have the same idea with you. i think he betrays Murron, for he had been promised to love her all his life. But sometimes love is difficult to explain. as he had said he find the strenghth of MUrron from the princess. nothing is perpetual including his love . meanwhile in my opinion Murron will understand him. i prefer to believe he loves the princess for her own appeal without the influence of Murron. for wallace he is a responsible man, he will bring the happiness to the princess.

love
i don't think William has betrayed Murron. Sometimes we humans are impetuous as a moment. we can't deny that William loves Murron, but she has died, he can put her in his heart forever.but the princess has her own characters and it is her kindness and love appeals William. i think Murron will forgive them when she knows that, or she will not worth William'love.

Art is from life and above life
In my eyes, it is totally a dramatic episode without and actual significance. Their love is too romantic and too dramatic that it can only coour in movies. Art is from life but above life. So I can absolutely accept it.lanny.liu wrote:They relations are different from William and his wife. the magic of love
In the movie, he once said to his wife to love her only, I believe it’s sincere at that time. But our minds are always changeable, so I believe his love for the princess is also from the bottom of his heart. Their love is hard to imagine in that circumstance, but it still grown in their heart. May be this is the magic of love.

I don't think William betrays Murron because she is already dead. All that William does are intended to revange for her, so I believe his love for her never changes . As for the way he treated the princess, I think he maybe love her as well, because she is kind, courageous and has helped him many times. But I believe even though he loves the princess, he won't change his mind towards Murron.

the love
i think William did not betray his wife. at that time, his wife had been dead and he had done a lot of things to revenge for his wife. as to the love for the princess, he could love her, because the princess was kind and good hearted. he loved her not just because she looked like his wife, it must had something in her attracted him.

love is mysterious
Afering watching some romantic movies, I have to say love is mystrious. Even though Wiliiam loves the princess because of her resemblance to his wife, the fact that presents before us is they actually fall in love with each other. Since they love each other, who will care the reason of falling in love? Besides, william dosen't betray his wife in my opinion. He still loves his wife but he can also pursue a new love, let alone he indeed meets someone who he loves. I believe William's happiness is also what his wife looks forward to.
